Tennessee Titans defensive end Kamerion Wimbley, who struggled mightily since signing a five-year, $35-million contract in ahead of the 2012 season, has obliged the Titans' request to restructure his deal.
The #Titans and DE Kamerion Wimbley have agreed to 3-year, $9 M deal on a restructured contract, per source.

Wimbley, 30, was scheduled to earn a total of $19.5 million over the next three seasons under his now previous contract - $6 million of that would have come in the form of his base salary.
Starting just one of the 15 games he appeared in last season, Wimbley recorded career-worst totals in sacks (3) and combined tackles (11).
Wimbley has made his desire to stay in Tennessee very clear throughout the offseason, so this news should not come as too much of a surprise.
With the Titans expected to shift to a 3-4 defense under new head coach Ken Whisenhunt, the veteran pass rusher will likely shift to the outside linebacker spot.
