Veteran cornerback Chris Carr announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday.
I'm official retiring from football this week. It's been a great ride!

Carr's nine-year career included stints with the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, San Diego Chargers and, most recently, the New Orleans Saints.
When I think of my career, I consider myself a Raven first and foremost. My three years in Bmore are my fondest football memories!

The 30-year-old appeared in 11 games for the Saints last season before being released, recording 16 tackles and one interception.
To NOLA-- it was a splendid experience playing for the Saints; rich culture, great food, and extremely supported fan base.
