The New York Jets placed wide receiver Garrett Wilson in concussion protocol, head coach Aaron Glenn announced Wednesday.

Glenn told reporters that the 26-year-old is considered day-to-day.

The Jets will face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.

Wilson caught six passes for 83 yards in New York's 38-33 defeat to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8.

The loss of Wilson would be significant for a Jets team that sits third in the AFC East with a 2-6 record.

Wilson has accounted for 27% of the Jets' targets this season, amassing 527 yards on 43 receptions while scoring three touchdowns.
