Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was ruled out Sunday after injuring his right thumb on his first snap against the Buffalo Bills.

Jackson suffered the injury when his hand hit a Buffalo Bills defender. He quickly went to the sideline to talk to the trainers, then exited to the locker room.

Jackson just returned to the starting lineup Sunday after missing the last three contests with an ankle injury.

Tyler Huntley replaced him at quarterback once he left the game. Huntley posted a 1-2 record while starting in place of Jackson, throwing for 727 yards with four touchdowns and one interception.

Baltimore entered Sunday's game against Buffalo with a 4-3 record and in last place in the AFC North.
