Tennessee Titans CEO Burke Nihill gave head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Mike Borgonzi a vote of confidence despite the club's 0-5 start to the season.
"I personally feel a sense of stability," Nihill said, according to ESPN's Turron Davenport. "I believe that Mike Borgonzi and Robert Saleh are ultimately going to get this team out of the woods and restore it competitive football. The train is on the tracks. It just hasn't picked up momentum, but it will.
"I can confidently say this organization is in a place where there is organizational belief in Mike, in Robert, and they absolutely have all the support they need to get this train moving and moving faster."
The Titans hired Borgonzi in January 2025 and then brought in Saleh this past offseason after a 3-14 campaign. There's been little progress under the new regime, as Tennessee ranks last in the NFL in averaging 246.4 yards and 11.6 points per game.
The Titans have won just six of their last 39 games dating back to the 2023 season.
"The first thing I would say back to the fans is just that we're sorry," Nihill said. "There's nobody in this building that doesn't feel ... a sense of grief about it, because not only are we fans of the team as well, but we feel the sense of responsibility to deliver. And we've let our fans down because football is supposed to be fun."
Tennessee's next opportunity to return to the win column comes Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
