The Philadelphia Eagles are placing guard Landon Dickerson on injured reserve due to a knee injury, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Dickerson has also been dealing with other ailments, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane.
The 27-year-old struggled in the Eagles' season-opening victory over the Washington Commanders, allowing four pressures, three hurries, and one sack in 35 pass-blocking snaps, according to PFF.
Dickerson was also part of a Philly offensive line that couldn't get push in the run game, leading to just a 26.3% rush success rate, the third-worst mark of any team in Week 1 before Monday Night Football.
The former second-round pick has been plagued by injuries over the last couple of years. After the 2025 campaign, he said he needed time to decide on whether to continue his NFL career. He was a key cog in the offensive line that helped the Eagles win a Super Bowl during the 2024 season.
Either Willie Lampkin or Drew Kendall is expected to replace Dickerson in the starting lineup, McLane adds. Lampkin primarily played center during the preseason, meaning Cam Jurgens could slide into Dickerson's spot at guard if the Eagles want Lampkin in the lineup.
Philadelphia will travel to Tennessee to face off against the Titans in Week 2.
