A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts seem to be on good terms.
The New England Patriots wide receiver and the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback were spotted greeting each other and talking for a moment after Thursday's joint practice between the teams.

Brown and Hurts spent four seasons together in Philadelphia before the veteran wideout was traded to the Patriots for a 2028 first-round pick in June. Upset with his role in the offense, Brown voiced his frustrations through cryptic messages on social media during the 2025 season and requested a change of scenery from the Eagles.
Brown and Hurts were previously close, as Hurts hosted Brown on a recruiting trip to Alabama years ago, before their NFL careers. Hurts is also the godfather of Brown's daughter, Jesse.
The meeting between the two after practice came one day after Brown told reporters they hadn't spoken since he was traded.
"Honestly, guys, none of that stuff even matters. ... I think you all should want to report something positive," Brown said Wednesday. "You know, asking the question is gonna turn negative. So, let's not get into that, and let's keep everything positive. It's love my way, and just move forward. That's all."
Brown and Hurts reached two Super Bowls in Philly and defeated the Kansas City Chiefs to hoist the Lombardi Trophy during the 2024 season. Brown recorded 5,304 yards and 32 touchdowns in 62 games with the Eagles, earning three second-team All-Pro nominations.
