Free-agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill gave an update on his recovery from a serious knee injury suffered last September.
"My left leg is the one that I injured," Hill said in a video posted on his YouTube channel late Wednesday. "I have no power in my left leg at all. So, I've been trying to regain all the power back in my left leg."
He added, "It's one day at a time."
Hill remains unsigned after being released by the Miami Dolphins in February. He played in just four games last year before undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated knee and multiple torn ligaments. Hill mentioned in the video that he underwent a second procedure in February to repair his LCL, and doctors told him at one point that he may never walk again.
Hill did several exercises in the video, including short sprints and jumps inside a pool. He remains confident that he can eventually return to the NFL.
"I ain't gonna tell you what my timeline is, but timeline looking real good right now, man," Hill said.
The 32-year-old spent the last four years with the Dolphins after being traded from the Kansas City Chiefs in March 2022. He recorded the second-most receiving yards (1,710) in the NFL during his debut campaign in Miami and then led the league in receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13) in 2023.
Kansas City selected Hill in the fifth round of the 2016 draft. He's posted six 1,000-plus-yard receiving seasons during his 10-year career, earning eight Pro Bowl nods and five first-team All-Pro nominations in the process. His 11,363 receiving yards since 2016 rank second across the league, behind only Davante Adams.
