Shedeur Sanders hopes to help the Cleveland Browns accomplish something the franchise has never been able to do - win a Super Bowl championship.

The rookie quarterback spoke about his desire to win a Super Bowl during a surprise visit to John Marshall High School in Cleveland on Wednesday.

"I'm trying to bring Cleveland, of course, a Super Bowl," Sanders said, via Cleveland.com. "But that's on the field, of course. But off the field is, of course, bringing more hope, bringing more positivity to (the city). And just having an avenue that we're able to directly communicate with the youth."

Sanders, who was widely projected to be a first-round selection entering the 2025 NFL Draft, was selected 144th overall by the Browns. He joins a quarterback room that includes Deshaun Watson, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel.

Cleveland finished last season tied for the worst record in the NFL at 3-14.
