The Washington Commanders are acquiring left tackle Laremy Tunsil from the Houston Texans in exchange for a package of picks, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Houston lands a third- and seventh-round pick this year and a second- and fourth-round selection in 2026, while the Commanders also get a 2025 fourth-rounder, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports.
Tunsil has made five Pro Bowls since being picked 13th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft, including three consecutive nods. He's spent the last six years with the Houston Texans after starting his career with the Miami Dolphins.
The 30-year-old allowed just two sacks, three quarterback hits, and 19 pressures en route to an 88.6 pass-blocking grade in 2024, per PFF. However, his 19 penalties were the most among all offensive tackles.
Tunsil has started all 125 games he's appeared in, including 17 contests in 2024.
