Report: Bucs re-signing Godwin, adding Reddick
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are re-signing wide receiver Chris Godwin to a three-year deal worth $66 million with $45 million guaranteed, Godwin's agents told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Tampa Bay is also signing edge rusher Haason Reddick to a one-year, $14-million deal with $12 million guaranteed, his agents told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Godwin tallied 50 receptions for 576 yards and five touchdowns in seven games last year before sustaining a season-ending ankle injury.
The 29-year-old has spent the entirety of his eight-year career with the Bucs, appearing in 111 games with 84 starts. He's totaled 7,266 yards and 39 touchdowns on 816 receptions.
Reddick, meanwhile, had a down season with the New York Jets after missing the first seven games of the year due to a contract holdout. He tallied one sack and two tackles for loss in a limited role during his 10 appearances (two starts).
The 30-year-old edge rusher has posted 59 sacks and 71 tackles for loss in 124 career games, with 50.5 sacks and 51 tackles for loss coming from 2020-23.
Reddick joined the Jets after two Pro Bowl seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. He's also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals (2017-2020) and Carolina Panthers (2021).
