The Philadelphia Eagles will release cornerback James Bradberry when the new league year starts, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Bradberry will be designated as a post-June 1 cut to free up $2.1 million in cap space, Fowler reports.
The team also reportedly informed fellow corner Darius Slay that he would be released Monday.
Bradberry missed the entire 2024 campaign after sustaining a leg injury during training camp. He tallied four interceptions, 30 passes defended, and the lone pick-6 of his career in 33 games with the Eagles.
Philadelphia enjoyed standout seasons from rookie corners Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean en route to a Super Bowl LIX victory with Bradberry sidelined for the season.
The 31-year-old joined the Eagles after two campaigns with the New York Giants and four with the Carolina Panthers. He's recorded 19 picks and 112 deflections in 125 contests.
