Vikings receiver Addison arrested on suspicion of DUI
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, authorities said Sunday, according to Luca Evans of the Los Angeles Daily News.
Addison was arrested late Friday night and released around two hours later early Saturday morning.
Officers found the USC product "asleep behind the wheel" while blocking a lane on a freeway near Los Angeles International Airport, according to the police report.
"We are aware of Jordan Addison's arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident," the Vikings said in a statement.
Addison was selected 23rd overall in the 2023 draft. He posted 911 yards and 10 touchdowns on 70 receptions in his rookie season.
The 22-year-old was cited for reckless driving in July 2023 after being clocked going 140 mph.
