The Buffalo Bills are signing offensive tackle Dion Dawkins to a three-year, $60.5-million contract extension, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The contract will make him one of the highest-paid offensive tackles in the NFL.

The deal was reported minutes after Dawkins trolled fans on social media, saying that his time in Buffalo was over.

Dawkins later confirmed that he was joking with fans.

The 29-year-old has been with the Bills since they selected him in the second round of the 2017 draft. He won a starting tackle job midway through his rookie season and never looked back.

Dawkins has started 106 games in seven NFL seasons, securing three Pro Bowl nods.
