The Pittsburgh Steelers released wide receiver Allen Robinson, the club announced Friday.

Pittsburgh will free up $10 million in cap space with the move, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The Steelers acquired Robinson from the Los Angeles Rams last offseason for a seventh-round pick swap. He was set to enter the last season of a three-year, $46-million deal he signed with the Rams in March 2022.

Robinson caught 34 passes for 280 yards and zero touchdowns in 17 contests with Pittsburgh. The former Pro Bowler failed to eclipse 40 receiving yards in a single game after totaling 64 in Week 1.

The 30-year-old has 7,028 receiving yards and 43 touchdowns in 127 career games.
