Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua exited Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns after injuring his ribs but returned to play in the second half.
The wideout suffered the ailment in the second quarter when he made an acrobatic catch near the sideline and landed hard on his side. Training staff attended to Nacua before he left the field.
Nacua has been one of the NFL's best rookies this year. The BYU product entered Sunday's game with 73 receptions for 924 yards and three touchdowns.
Nacua surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the season when he scored a 70-yard touchdown earlier in Sunday's game. He's the first rookie receiver to reach the milestone in 2023.
