Kelce brothers land top spot on Billboard charts with Christmas duet
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce have a No. 1 hit on their hands with their new holiday single.
The brothers' duet "Fairytale of Philadelphia" climbed to the top spot on Billboard's Rock Digital Songs Sales chart this week and also came in at No. 1 on the Holiday Digital Song Sales.
"That song was fun. That song was actually pretty sweet, man," Travis said on the Oct. 25 episode of the brothers' "New Heights" podcast. "I enjoyed doing it. The guys, the team, came out and hung out with me in Kansas City for a few hours and we knocked it out."
Released Nov. 15, "Fairytale of Philadelphia" is a rendition of The Pogues' 1987 classic "Fairytale of New York." It will be included on the upcoming album "A Philly Special Christmas Special," which features songs from several Eagles players as well as R&B icon Patti LaBelle.
