Veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb is signing a one-year pact with the New York Jets, sources told Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.

Schultz adds that the deal includes $3 million in guarantees with a maximum value of $4 million.

The Jets officially announced Cobb's signing Wednesday.

Cobb, one of Aaron Rodgers' best friends, played 10 seasons alongside the passer with the Green Bay Packers.

The 32-year-old also spent one-year stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans.

Cobb has been a consistent contributor since entering the NFL as a second-round pick in the 2011 draft. He's posted at least 375 yards every year, totaling 625 catches, 7,585 yards, and 53 touchdowns for his career.

Rodgers and Cobb have connected for 534 receptions across the regular season and playoffs; only Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver and former Packers star Davante Adams (687) has caught more passes from Rodgers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Cobb also reunites with receiver Allen Lazard, who signed a four-year, $44-million deal with the Jets this offseason after five campaigns with Green Bay.
