Xaviar Babudar, the Kansas City Chiefs superfan who was arrested in December for armed robbery, is in more legal hot water after failing to show up to a court appearance.
A $1-million bond warrant was issued for Babudar after he removed his ankle monitor and was a no-show for his district court arraignment Monday, Jennifer Maupin of 2 News Oklahoma reports. The district attorney's office said it intends to file a felony charge of removing an electronic monitoring device against Babudar.
Known to fans as ChiefsAholic, Babudar regularly attends Chiefs home and road games dressed in a KC Wolf costume. He's accused of robbing a Tulsa Teachers Credit Union bank in Bixby, Oklahoma, on Dec. 16, 2022 while armed with a weapon.
After making bail, Babudar reportedly asked the court for permission to attend a "family vacation" in Phoenix at the same time Super Bowl LVII between the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles was taking place in the area.
