The Philadelphia Eagles signed safety Terrell Edmunds to a one-year deal, the club announced Friday.
The athletic safety heads to Philly just days after former Eagles starter C.J. Gardner-Johnson signed with the Detroit Lions.
Edmunds, 26, spent the last five seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers after being selected 28th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. He's amassed 410 total tackles, five interceptions, 26 pass breakups, and five sacks in 79 career games.
Philadelphia's safety room also includes K'Von Wallace and Reed Blankenship, among others. Edmunds will likely compete for a starting role in the Eagles' secondary.
He's the older brother of Chicago Bears linebacker Tremaine Edmunds.
