Bills-Bengals won't resume this week, no changes to Week 18 schedule
Monday night's postponed matchup between Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals won't resume this week, the NFL announced Tuesday.
The league said that it hasn't made a decision about potentially rescheduling the AFC matchup for a later date. The NFL hasn't made any changes to the Week 18 schedule either.
The prime-time game was called off after Buffalo defensive back Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest following a tackle in the first quarter. Hamlin's heartbeat was restored on the field after he received emergency medical treatment.
The 24-year-old remains in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, the Bills said Tuesday.
Buffalo is set to host the New England Patriots on Sunday, while Cincinnati is scheduled to host the Baltimore Ravens.
