Jets' Denzel Mims requests trade

New York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims has requested a trade, his agent announced Thursday.

The 2020 second-round pick struggled in his first two seasons in the NFL, producing just 490 yards and zero touchdowns.
Mims was a non-factor in 2021, catching only eight passes for 133 yards in 11 appearances (three starts).
With first-round receiver Garrett Wilson joining a group that also features Elijah Moore and Corey Davis, Mims has been fighting for the No. 4 receiver spot with Braxton Berrios and Jeff Smith.
