The Tennessee Titans are re-signing linebacker Harold Landry to a multi-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Financial terms weren't disclosed by the Titans, but Landry inked a five-year, $87.5-million pact, sources told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Landry's deal reportedly contains $52.5 million guaranteed.

He was set to be one of the top free agents available after the Titans opted not to use the franchise tag to keep him off the open market.

The 25-year-old's average salary of $17.5 million puts him just inside the top 10 among pass-rushers, per Over The Cap.

Landry set himself up for a major payday with a breakout 2021 season, racking up career highs in sacks (12), quarterback hits (22), and total tackles (75) to earn his first Pro Bowl nod.

The Titans selected Landry in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft following a standout career at Boston College. He produced 19 sacks across his first three seasons in the league.
