Report: Cooper expected to return for TNF vs. Saints
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is expected to play Thursday against the New Orleans Saints after missing the last two games with COVID-19, a source told ESPN's Ed Werder.
Cooper, who is unvaccinated, missed losses to the Las Vegas Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs after testing positive.
Thursday's matchup will mark the third time the Cowboys' star receiver trio of Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup will all be on the field together this season.
While Cooper will provide a boost, Dallas won't have head coach Mike McCarthy after he tested positive for COVID-19. Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will serve as interim coach for the Cowboys.
Cooper is second on the team in receiving yards (583) and touchdowns (five) and third in catches (44).
