Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David suffered a low ankle sprain in Sunday's win against the Miami Dolphins and is expected to miss Thursday's matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

David will be considered week-to-week after Week 6, added Rapoport.

The 31-year-old had played every defensive snap this season before exiting against the Dolphins in the first half, racking up 34 total tackles, one sack, and two pass defenses.

Kevin Minter will likely start alongside Devin White against the Eagles, with rookies K.J. Britt and Grant Stuard set for expanded roles.
