Report: Packers working on trade to bring back Cobb
The Green Bay Packers are working on a reunion with wideout Randall Cobb, reports NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Cobb, one of Aaron Rodgers' favorite targets for eight seasons, was allowed to leave via free agency in 2019. The 30-year-old is now a member of the Houston Texans after signing a three-year deal with the club last March.
Texans teammate Brandin Cooks appeared to confirm Cobb's eventual departure.

However, the trade is contingent on renegotiating Cobb's salary, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. He's owed a guaranteed $8.25 million for the season and the Packers currently have $4.9 million in cap space, according to Over The Cap.
Rodgers is also reportedly in talks with the team about a revised contract. He held out during offseason activities and reportedly didn't intend to play for the Packers in 2021, but he arrived at the team facility Tuesday in advance of Wednesday's first training camp practice.
The reigning MVP was unhappy with the team's decision to let Cobb walk in 2019 and he said this offseason that his frustration with the Packers' front office stems from a difference in philosophy.
Cobb recorded 5,524 yards and 41 touchdowns during his tenure with the Packers. He went for 828 yards and three touchdowns with the Dallas Cowboys in 2019 and 441 yards and another three scores with the Texans in 2020.
