Jamison Crowder will stay with the New York Jets after accepting a revised contract, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Jets asked Crowder to significantly reduce his salary from the $10 million he was due to earn in 2021, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini. The wide receiver is still on track to become a free agent in 2022.

Crowder has been productive in the slot since signing with the Jets in 2019. He had 833 yards with six touchdowns in his first season with the club and followed it up with 699 yards and six touchdowns in 12 appearances last year.

The 27-year-old will return to a receiving corps that added former Tennessee Titans starter Corey Davis in free agency and former Ole Miss standout Elijah Moore in the draft. New York also has a promising sophomore wideout in Denzel Mims.

The Jets begin mandatory minicamp Tuesday. Crowder will presumably attend after sitting out voluntary workouts amid contract talks.
