The Baltimore Ravens signed running back Gus Edwards to a two-year, $10-million extension, his agent told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Edwards is now tied to the club through the 2023 campaign.

The 26-year-old has served as Baltimore's power back for the last three seasons, finishing each of them with over 700 yards on the ground while averaging at least five yards per carry.

Though he isn't the shiftiest player, Edwards has picked up positive yardage more consistently than any other rusher since he broke into the NFL.

Edwards joined the Ravens after going undrafted out of Rutgers. He quickly ascended up the depth chart and is in line to split carries with J.K. Dobbins for the second straight year.
