The Philadelphia Eagles re-signed running back Jordan Howard to a one-year deal, the team announced Wednesday.
Howard was originally drafted by the Chicago Bears in 2016 and traded to the Eagles in 2019. He appeared in 12 games for Philly, scoring six touchdowns.
He signed a two-year contract with the Miami Dolphins last March, but was waived eight months later. He then landed on the Eagles' practice squad.
Howard has 3,955 career rushing yards and 34 rushing touchdowns in 64 games. The 26-year-old joins a depth chart that includes Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, and Elijah Holyfield at running back.
