Arians won't retire if Bucs win Super Bowl: 'Hell no. I'm going for 2'

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians doesn't intend to ride off into the sunset if his team is victorious over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV on Feb. 7.

"Hell no. I'm going for two," said Arians on Tuesday, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. "If the Glazers will have me back."

Arians previously retired twice - once briefly in 2012 after the Pittsburgh Steelers opted not to renew his contract as offensive coordinator, and again at the end of the 2017 campaign after five seasons as the Arizona Cardinals' head coach.

After a year out, he decided to resume his career in Tampa Bay, signing a four-year deal.

The 68-year-old had two health scares with the Cardinals and revealed he always fell ill when seasons ended.

Arians appears rejuvenated with the Tom Brady-led Bucs ahead of his first Super Bowl appearance as a head coach. He won Super Bowls XL and XLIII as an assistant with the Steelers.
