Rams' Kupp listed as inactive vs. Packers due to knee injury
The Los Angeles Rams listed wide receiver Cooper Kupp as inactive for Saturday's divisional-round matchup with the Green Bay Packers.
Kupp is dealing with a knee injury. Reports earlier in the week indicated he was likely to play, but the wideout couldn't recover in time.
The shifty pass-catcher has bursitis in his knee, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He suffered a non-contact injury late in last week's win over the Seattle Seahawks, but the diagnosis wasn't initially labeled as serious.
Kupp was unable to practice this week and was set for a reduced role if he suited up versus Green Bay.
Robert Woods, Josh Reynolds, and rookie Van Jefferson will operate as Jared Goff's top receivers Saturday. Tight ends Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett could also see increased targets against a stingy secondary.
