The Green Bay Packers will allow more fans at Lambeau Field for their divisional-round playoff game next weekend.

In addition to invited healthcare workers and first responders, the Packers will put roughly 6,000 tickets up for sale to their season-ticket holders, the team announced Thursday. Seating will be socially distanced, as fans will be seated in pods of two, four, or six.

The Packers allowed only employees and their families in the stands of their cavernous 81,441-seat stadium for their final four home games of the regular season.

"Our players have enjoyed the energy provided by the limited fans we've had over the past four games," president Mark Murphy said. "We're looking forward to welcoming our season-ticket holders to add to that atmosphere in the playoffs."

The Packers earned home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs by virtue of their conference-best 13-3 record.
