Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs was arrested early Monday morning and charged with DUI, police told Fox 5's Kevin Bolinger and Elaine Emerson.
Officers said Jacobs was involved in a single-car accident near the McCarran Airport tunnel in Vegas. Police suspected the driver was impaired prior to the arrest.
The second-year tailback was released from custody Monday afternoon, according to court records, and his next court appearance is scheduled for March 8.
Jacobs was the Raiders' leading rusher in 2020, amassing 1,065 yards on the ground with 12 touchdowns across 15 starts. He added 238 yards receiving on 33 catches.
The running back and club have yet to comment on the incident.
