Allen breaks Bills' single-season passing yards record

Josh Allen's breakout season is also now a record-setting one.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback broke Drew Bledsoe's single-season franchise mark for passing yards (4,359 in 2002) in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Allen broke Bills legend Jim Kelly's team passing touchdown record of 33 during a dominant performance in last week's win over the New England Patriots. He'll also likely set a new Buffalo completion percentage record, as he entered Week 17 at 69.1%.

The signal-caller, who's also rushed for 418 yards and eight scores this year, has emerged as a star in his third season after two inconsistent campaigns to begin his NFL career.

The Bills locked up their first AFC East title since 1995 in Week 15 and could seal the AFC's No. 2 seed with a win over Miami.
