The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will again be without starting running back Ronald Jones when they face the Detroit Lions on Saturday.
Head coach Bruce Arians said Jones won't make it through the COVID-19 protocol in time for Saturday's game.
Jones missed last week's contest after the team placed him on the COVID-19 list on Wednesday.
The Bucs struggled to run the ball without their leading rusher in Sunday's comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Leonard Fournette and Ke'Shawn Vaughn combined for 53 yards on 16 carries, though the former found the end zone twice.
Jones is nearing his first 1,000-yard season. He has 900 yards and six touchdowns in 13 games.
Cornerback Carlton Davis will be a game-time decision as he deals with a groin injury.
