The Cleveland Browns placed rookie left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. on the COVID-19 list, the team announced Thursday.

The Brows have deemed Wills a close contact of someone outside of the building who has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram. The 21-year-old may still be available for Sunday's game against the New York Jets if he continues to test negative, head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed.

Kendall Lamm would step into the starting lineup if Wills is unable to play.

Additionally, the team has placed receiver Ryan Switzer on the practice squad COVID-19 list.
