The Las Vegas Raiders placed Henry Ruggs III on the COVID-19 list Tuesday, and, as a result, the rookie receiver will miss Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
There was no indication whether Ruggs contracted the coronavirus or if he's deemed a close contact to someone with COVID-19.
Ruggs was the hero back in Week 13, hauling in a game-winning 44-yard touchdown in the dying seconds to avoid a loss to the winless New York Jets. He was held to three catches for 18 yards in Sunday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
The 7-6 Raiders trail the 8-5 Miami Dolphins by one game for the final playoff spot in the AFC with three games remaining. Las Vegas has lost three of its last four contests.
