The New England Patriots placed receiver Julian Edelman on the COVID-19 list, reports ESPN's Field Yates.
It's been a forgettable season for the veteran wideout. Edelman underwent knee surgery in October and was put on injured reserve. He hasn't appeared in a game since Week 7.
He's played in just six games this year, recording 21 catches for 315 yards and no touchdowns.
The 34-year-old has one year remaining on his contract with the Patriots.
