Buffalo Bills starting left guard Cody Ford will be out for the season after suffering an injury in practice this week, head coach Sean McDermott announced Friday, according to WGR's Sal Capaccio.

Ford suffered a torn meniscus and will require three-to-four months of rehab, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Buffalo's 2019 second-round pick started his career primarily on the right side of the offensive line, rotating between tackle and guard, but settled in at left guard early in the 2020 campaign.

The 23-year-old missed two games earlier in the year with a separate knee injury.

McDermott also ruled wide receiver John Brown out for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers, per Capaccio. Brown is dealing with an ankle ailment and hasn't practiced all week.

Jon Feliciano or Ike Boettger will fill in for Ford at guard, while Gabriel Davis should see the majority of outside snaps at wideout in Brown's place.
