It turns out Jimmy Fallon was behind some of the recent noteworthy quotes from NFL players.
The late-night talk show host revealed Monday he tasked several players with dropping weird phrases into interviews, which he shared in a compilation video.
The challenge included Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf comparing touchdowns to catching Pokemon and a bizarre maple syrup metaphor from Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski that left many people confused.
Fallon has pulled similar stunts with MLB All-Stars and PGA Tour golfers.
