Report: Foles avoids major injury after being carted off on MNF
Chicago Bears quarterback Nick Foles didn't suffer a major injury after being carted off the field late on Monday Night Football, sources told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Initial tests didn't reveal a fracture in Foles' hip, Garafolo adds. The Bears are hopeful he'll be back following their Week 11 bye.
Head coach Matt Nagy said Tuesday that Foles will be "day-to-day" due to a right hip/glute ailment, according to Brad Biggs of The Chicago Tribune.
Foles replaced an ineffective Mitch Trubisky in Week 3 but threw for just 106 yards and an interception against the Vikings.
Trubisky is also on the shelf with a shoulder injury he suffered on a running play in Week 9. However, Chicago is hopeful Trubisky will be available after the team's bye, Garafolo notes.
The Bears will next take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 12.
