Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger sustained injuries to both knees during Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

Despite his injuries, there is cautious optimism Roethlisberger will be healthy enough to suit up in Week 10 versus the Cincinnati Bengals.

The 38-year-old was visibly in pain after taking a sack late in the second quarter. He was seen limping afterward and exited to the locker room prior to halftime. Mason Rudolph entered the game but Roethlisberger took over at the start of the third quarter.

Both of the veteran's knees got trapped on the play, though his feet weren't stuck in the turf, which saved him from a major injury, per Rapoport.

Roethlisberger completed 29 of 42 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's victory, helping Pittsburgh move to 8-0.
