The Arizona Cardinals expect to be without running back Kenyan Drake for "a few weeks" due to a slight tear of a ligament in his ankle, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
The injury is considered to be on par with a high ankle sprain.
Drake suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's game against the Seattle Seahawks and needed a cart to take him to the locker room.
The Alabama product had 14 carries for 34 yards at the time of the injury. Drake has 512 rushing yards and four touchdowns through seven games this season.
Chase Edmonds will likely take over the primary rushing role. The third-year back has three touchdowns this season and had amassed 145 total yards in Sunday's win over the Seahawks.
