Washington Football Team safety Landon Collins is believed to have suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys, sources told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Collins was carted from the sideline to the locker room after exiting in the second quarter of Washington's 25-3 win and was quickly ruled out with what the team called a right ankle injury.

The 26-year-old is scheduled to have an MRI on Monday.

Collins had four tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble that resulted in a safety before going down.

Deshazor Everett, Troy Apke, and Kamren Curl will likely man Washington's safety positions moving forward.
