New York Jets head coach Adam Gase relinquished offensive play-calling duties before Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains inherited the responsibilities as the Jets look to snap a six-game losing streak to begin the season.

Gase considered giving up play-calling before the Miami Dolphins dealt the Jets a 24-0 shutout in Week 6 but ultimately chose to call the offense in that game.

Through six weeks, the Jets ranked 31st in yards per game and 32nd in points with a paltry 12.5 per game.

The Jets are the only winless team in the NFL entering Week 7.
