San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert suffered an ankle injury Sunday versus the Los Angeles Rams and was ruled out for the rest of the game.
Mostert hobbled off the field after a run early in the second half. He had his ankle taped on the sideline but was unable to return to the contest.
The speedy tailback totaled 65 yards on 17 carries before exiting, adding two receptions for 11 yards.
Mostert missed two games earlier this season with a knee injury. He returned for last week's matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
Jerick McKinnon and JaMycal Hasty will lead San Francisco's backfield in Mostert's absence.
