Report: Titans' Week 5 game in jeopardy after 2 more positive tests
The Tennessee Titans' Week 5 game against the Buffalo Bills is in jeopardy as two more players tested positive for COVID-19, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Tennessee was expected to return to its facility Wednesday, but now won't be able to due to its latest COVID-19 results, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini.
Mike Vrabel's squad was coming off two consecutive days with clean results following six straight days of positives from 20 players and personnel staff.
The Titans' Week 4 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers was already moved to Week 7 after the team's outbreak.
Clubs experiencing outbreaks are required to have at least two consecutive days without a positive test before considering reopening team facilities.
The NFL and NFLPA are investigating whether Tennessee violated COVID-19 protocols before and during its outbreak.
