Detriot Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay is expected to play against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3 after missing the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Golladay was close to playing in Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers, but the Lions were reportedly cautious with their top offensive weapon.

With Detroit falling to 0-2 following the defeat in Green Bay, the team needs Golladay - who led the NFL with 11 receiving touchdowns last season - to help spark the offense.

Injuries have hit the Lions hard to begin the season. In addition to Golladay, four other starters - guard Joe Dahl, defensive tackle Nick Williams, and cornerbacks Desmond Trufant and Justin Coleman - were sidelined for the loss to Green Bay.

A 2017 third-round pick, Golladay produced the second straight 1,000-plus-yard season of his career in 2019.
