The Pittsburgh Steelers have reached a four-year, $71.4-million contract extension with two-time All-Pro defensive lineman Cameron Heyward, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

The 31-year-old was entering the final year of his contract, worth $9.5 million for the 2020 season.
Entering his ninth season, Heyward has blossomed late in his career. He's coming off three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances and two All-Pro nominations in the past three years.
Heyward broke out for a career-high 12 sacks in 2017 and has followed it with 17 sacks in the past two seasons.
Heyward fronts a formidable defensive line with T.J. Watt, Stephon Tuitt, and Chris Wormley.
He's spent his entire career in Pittsburgh since the Steelers drafted him 31st overall in 2011.
