Alexander's father found alive, to be reunited with family
Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Mackensie Alexander's father, Jean Odney Alexandre, was found alive Thursday morning after being missing since Monday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Alexandre made contact with a ranger at Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park in Okeechobee County, Florida. The sheriff's office said he's "in good health" and is being reunited with his family.
Alexander left Bengals training camp Monday as authorities began the search for his father. He was arrested Tuesday night on one count of misdemeanor battery after allegedly confronting the man who left his father behind on a berry-picking trip.
The 26-year-old was later released on bond and rejoined the search.
Alexander has yet to determine when he will return to camp in Cincinnati.
